Wedding shower cakes

I'm a little embarrassed to put this on! Don't think badly of me. It's kind of tradition to embarrass the bride at her wedding shower.... it always works. This isn't for anyone in my family. One of my friends found it hilarious and wanted them for her friends wedding shower. At least they have clothes on!
Hurray for NO PIPE-ING the frosting on the Fondant was a breeze!

Baby Diaper Cake

Isn't this so cute!
I LOVE IT!
I found this idea and couldn't help not to do it!
Thanks Tristyn for the HELP!

Nursery Valentines

Conversation Hearts are always the cheapest way to go for treats for Valentines Day. Last year we saw the idea to make the boxes into i-pods (Young Womens) Well I'm not in YW's any more so I thought what can I make for Nursery kids? Then the idea came when my two little ones decided to fight over the mini pocket Book of Mormons. So that's what we did this year. The kids loved them!

Valenitne Card Idea's

I saw these amazing idea's for Valentine Cards! They were so much fun I made them for my sister & Cousin's kids too.

Happy Birthday Logan!

Happy Birthday Logan!
Logan wanted to take a bunch of friends to Gulliver Travels the movie!
It was a lot of fun. Even the cake was a little crazy. But now we know how to do it!
Happy Birthday Logan!

Easter! 2010

Easter! YEA...... I had to beg for Heath to go with me to take the girls to an egg hunt this year. School has been top priority for him and study time is precious! We he agreed to help me and so we took the kids somewhere close at Taylorsville Park! The close one over here on 6200 S. There was so many eggs my kids got ton's they even had fun papers in some of them where they got cool prizes. (AWESOME PRIZES) They had a blast!
Easter morning was fun. Logan was the first to wake up. Like usual. She was so excited to find her Easter basket. Franki's was hiding behind the family room curtain. Georgie's was in the kitchen cupboard. CharLee's Was in the bathtub. And Logan well she couldn't find her basket. So we had the egg hunt in the house that me and Heath do for the kids for Easter. Then inch by inch Logan went through the house and finally found the basket in a small basket on the shelf in the office. They got Games this year! The Easter bunny must have known we play games a lot as a family because they got some new games!

DRAMA***!!! CharLee woke up at 3:00am to tell us she was scared because there was a loud pop in the house while she was going the bathroom and she believes it was the Easter bunny still in the house. She had to sleep on our bedroom floor for the rest of the night. YEAH, that's right! We trained our kids from an early age they are not allowed to sleep in our bed, only on the floor. (Thanks MOM, I learned that from you!)

Cookies on a Stick!

I saw this cute idea in a magazine to make cute cookies on a stick! They are made of 1 package of Oreo cookies and 1 package of cream cheese. I then grind them all together to make a paste. Then I take my scoop and scoop out round balls and place them on a wax piece of paper. Then dip them in melted choc. and dipped in cute sprinkles. I took them to Standards Night last night and the kids loved them! My friend Angela made these last year for her YW's lesson hand out but they were a little different, she used cake and frosting and rolled them into a ball then dipped them in chocolate. She even used cute sucker wrappers and tied a cute bow at the bottom, they were adorable.

Las Vegas Temple Trip

I decided to make a new years resolution this year that didn't have to do with weight. So this year me and Heath made a goal to go to every Temple in Utah. We so far have made one! The Jordan River Temple. I think we are a little behind.
A couple of weeks ago I was so excited because we were heading into Vegas, so in my cleaver mind I thought this is such a great opportunity to go to the St. George Temple. Excited I packed our Temple clothes and started telling all my friends of the temple we were about to visit. They all then Begin to tell me of the amazing Temple in LasVegas and that we really should attend that one instead. "The Celestial Room is Amazing" they said, "When are you going to get another opportunity to see the Vegas Temple" another friend said. Well I love all you friends that highly encouraged us to visit the LasVegas Temple, we just couldn't resist all of the amazing words of the Celestial Room. So we went! And we LOVED it!
And now I get to talk Heath into another trip so St. George so we can visit that one before the end of the year.

***Side note of UGLY picture*****
You should have seen the laughter of people walking by watching us take this photo. It was very difficult to get us in the picture as well as the temple in the back ground we had to move places and squat low. So therefore we look like dorks!

In our Young Women's program we have had 6 baptisms with in the last year! WOW!!! We are so excited to have these new YW as part of the Ward. I have one this weekend! Congrats KENZIE! I wanted to make something to give these girls on the first day that we take them to the temple. So what is better than Temple Recommend Holder's! They love them! They get the opportunity to use them a lot because we take them at least once a month. You can even make these for a temple lesson.
How I made them! Quite simple, I cut a 12x12 page in half and folded so there is a slot to place their recommend in. I printed the pictures off the Internet.

Personal Progress and Scriture Holders

I'm so excited that I found this great idea on Sugardoodle.net. I had an activity with my Young Womens. We made these cute bags with ribbon and iron-on adheisive. They LOVED IT! We even book covered a book of Mormon to go inside as well as their Personal Progress books. I have lots of in-active girls that don't have scriptures so this was a great subsitution! We ask the girls to bring these to every activity and to church on Sunday. (Because all our activity's cordinate with passing off a value goal, on Sugardoodle they also have values they can pass off with each lesson on Sunday as well. Georgie saw these bags and cried that she wanted one. So I made her one for her little scripture that we book covered too.

Which one should I use?

Which one to use? Franki is so funny, she loves her baba's but as soon as we give it to her she hugs it and puts her thumb in her mouth. On occation I have even caught her putting the baba up by her mouth like she is drinking it, but she just can't pull her thumb out for it to be inserted! I thought this was hallarious! LOOK she is even giving me a crusty for laughing at her.

First Time For St.Patrick's Day Decorating

Today is a turning point for decorations. It's the first time I have ever decorated for St. Patrick's Day!!! I couldn't resist. Ever been to Wood Connection? DON'T!!!!! I have been sucked in to a whirlwind of crazy craft idea's. It hasn't stopped. I have made so many wood projects in the last couple of months!
OK- So I love it! Have a wood project? Want one? Come on over!

So, to get back to my St. Patrick's Day decorations. I have always wanted to decorate but always thought, "What in the world does LUCKY mean anyway?" It's kind of been one of those words in a sentence that makes me feel guilty when it's blurted out of my mouth. Just to think, "It's not really Luck it's more of a blessing". So I came up with a spiritual St.Patrick's Day Decoration! YEAH I'm NUTS!!!

Blocks for birthday's

Here are some way cute blocks I made for my Young Women for their birthday's this year. I got the blocks from Wood Connection. Then you just scrapbook the front with a cute piece of paper and WHALLA!!!! I'm so excited to give these to the girls this year!

Fighting for a spot in the Bed!

Georgie must have had a rough night with her bear. I guess the bear didn't want to share the bed anymore.
